Our client is one of the world’s leading event agencies with multiple offices in the UK and overseas offering services including venue finding, incentive travel and event management to an impressive client list. Events can range from small meetings for 20, to large-scale conferences for 1000’s and bespoke incentive travel trips and clients from a broad industry spectrum.
An opportunity has become available for an experienced event manager to join one of their account teams as Deputy Team Manager. This team looks after huge blue chip clients and events are often complex international events and incentives with large-scale budgets so experience in this kind of event management is essential. You will share the management of a team on a daily basis and also still manage your own events;
Reporting into the Account Team Manager your responsibilities will include:
• Event management of some key high profile and complex events
• Account management of key clients including proposal presentation
• Overseeing the team and their workloads
• Maintaining a streamlined supplier network
• Managing project budgets on an on-going basis
If you have experience at a senior level within an event agency, have complex event experience and ideally have managed a team then we are very keen to speak to you. This requires a highly organized individual with excellent client facing and communication skills; in return this first class agency will help develop your career to the next level.
